November 25 - 27, Yokohama, Yokohama, Japan. High Security Printing Asia presents the latest technologies and techniques for the production and issue of banknotes, e-passports, ID cards, visas and other documents across Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
The conference, organized by Reconnaissance, will see key stakeholders coming together to explore 'the latest techniques used by document examiners to deter altered and counterfeit travel and identity documents' with a focus on 'government-specified and issued documents'. These include currency, fiduciary documents, excise stamps, ID cards, e-passports, visas, vehicle documents and licences, with a particular emphasis on banknotes and the emerging technologies for ID and travel documents. Speakers are specialists in their field providing technical presentations, include some regional case studies.

July 28, — Reconnaissance already organizes the highly successful Asian and Pan European High Security Printing Conferences — annual events with a regional focus that cover government-specified and issued documents, including currency, fiduciary documents, excise stamps, ID cards, e-passports, visas, vehicle documents and licences, with a particular emphasis on banknotes and emerging technologies for ID and travel documents. Running in tandem with each event is a trade exhibition of companies supplying technologies and systems for these sectors. Latin America, however, is growing in importance — not just as a future economic powerhouse but, in the context of government fiduciary and ID documents, as a market for high security printing.
Speakers are specialists in their field providing technical presentations, include some regional case studies. Regional: Convenient and accessible, with many of the topics specific to the issues and challenges of the region itself. Technical: A particular emphasis is placed on innovative and emerging technologies for document protection, reinforced by the two workshops, which delve much deeper into their specific subjects to give a practical, hands-on and detailed understanding.
Reconnaissance High Security Printing Asia has given the region a forum for high security printing where new products, technical developments, problems and solutions have all been aired and shared for the benefit of government departments, central banks, state and commercial security printers and paper mills, security feature suppliers and developers, systems integrators and other interested parties.
