In his debut in the uncomfortable spotlight of a professional athlete this week, the year-old native of the Czech Republic had the youthful indiscretion of apparently self-made naked pictures splashed across the Internet. According to Zack Taylor, who posted pictures of Tlusty on the Canadian gossip Web site, isthishappening. Taylor alleged that the Leafs forward uploaded the pictures on an online Facebook account, as well as shared them with girls he met over the Internet.
The subject who is truly loyal to the Chief Magistrate will neither advise nor submit to arbitrary measures. It is an unfortunate sign when the wisdom of professional hockey players appears to outweigh that of many of the journalists who cover them. But such has been the case this week in Toronto.

Each day I will put up one of these posts with an excerpt and statline of a former Maple Leaf. You guys can use this thread to discuss, make jokes, and reminisce about said player. He played four games in the pre-season, recording three assists and eventually making the final cuts before ultimately being assigned to the AHL again.
You're going to be hearing about Leaf rookie Jiri Tlusty today. A naked picture of Jiri has shown up on the internet and as we all know anything a Maple Leafs does gains a lot of attention. Tlusty is standing in front of a mirror and it's obvious a self portrait taken with a camera phone and although he can be quite proud of he's been blessed with, that's the extent of the good news.
Some of us have the privilege of seeing Jiri Tlusty in-person naked on a fairly regular basis. They still do that brain dead crap, eh? Or maybe he is like the Don Juan of hockey players.
W ell at least we all know what we're talking about now. Honest to Christmas, some days you roll out of bed, fire up the interweb and are ashamed to be a card-carrying member of the human race. Especially one who works in the media.
